جامعة عفت : تماشيًا مع توجهات خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك عبد الله بن عبد العزيز آل سعود – حفظه الله – بالدعم الحثيث والمتواصل للنهوض بالمملكة العربية السعودية إلى اقتصاد قائم على المعرفة مع الالتزام بالتميز الأكاديمي؛ يسرني الإعلان عن انطلاق برنامج الإنتاج المرئي والرقمي تحت كلية الهندسة. وهو برنامجُ متميز وجديدُ ومتفرد من نوعه أطلق بالتعاون مع كلية السينما المرئية والفنون في جامعة جنوب كاليفورنيا. ومن منطلق سعينا للتميز، فاننا نعمل في جامعة عفت جاهدين لإعداد الكفاءات القيادية المنافسة عالميًا في بيئة أكاديمية وتعليمية مبدعة ومتعددة التخصصات، كما يتم إدارة الموارد المتوافرة بشكل فعال لتشجيع البحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع والتعلم مدى الحياة وإنشاء شراكات محلية ودولية، وصنع نماذج جديدة ملهمة من التعلم لتحقق أقصى قدر من الخبرات التعليمية، وبهذا نوفر لطالباتنا بيئة تنافسية، واعية، ومثالية للتعبير عن معنى المواطنة وقيادة الغد. يحمل العام الدراسي الجديد 2014-2015 م تحديات واسعة ويحمل أيضا فرصًا جديدة، ولهذا ندعوكم للتعاون معنا على تذليل هذه التحديات واغتنام الفرص من أجل غد مشرق لنا جميعًا. ندعوكم لتصفح فعاليات جامعة عفت ومناسباتها التي يعلن عنها دوريًا وبانتظام على موقعنا الإلكتروني، والتي نأمل أن تجدوها مفيدة ومحفزة لزيارة حرم الجامعة الممتد على مساحة 82000 متر مربع واكتشاف المزيد عن حياة جامعة عفت المليئة بالإثارة والإفادة. الرؤية :: أن تكون إحدى أفضل جامعات العالم الرائدة في إثراء المعرفة والممارسة المهنية والثقافة لتلهم رائدات الغد فيصبحن سفيرات يحملن رؤية الملكة عفت الثنيان آل سعود رحمها الله. الرسالة :: اعداد الكفاءات القيادية المنافسة عالميًا في بيئة أكاديمية وتعليمية مبدعة تشجع البحث العلمي وخدمة المجتمع والتعلم مدى الحياة. أهداف الجامعة للأعوام 2012-2017 :: 1. الوصول بجامعة عفت لتكون أفضل جامعة أهلية نسائية في المملكة العربية السعودية. 2. تطوير مناخ تنظيميّ إيجابي والحفاظ على بيئة عمل منتجة. 3. تحقيق الاعتمادات الأكاديمية الوطنية والدولية و الحفاظ عليها، وضمان وجود جامعة عفت من أفضل الجامعات الوطنية. 4. الحفاظ على مكانة التفوق الأكاديمي و التوسع الأفقي و الرأسي المدروس في تقديم البرامج الأكاديمية. 5. الوصول الى الطاقة الاستيعابية لأعداد الطالبات بحلول عام 2017 , و المحافظة على استمراريتهن بالتركيز على اثراء التميز في عملية تطوير المهارات و المعارف. 6. الاستمرار في توفير أحدث الموارد التعليمية و المرافق الخدمية في الحرم الجامعي لكل من الطالبات وأعضاء هيئة التدريس والإداريين. 7. استكمال تشييد المباني المعتمدة في الخطة الرئيسية لمنشئات الحرم الجامعي و تحفيز أفضل استخدام لمرافق الجامعة و مبانيها. 8. تعزيز القدرة المالية للجامعة و استدامتها و استمرارية جهود تنمية الموارد المالية لمباني خطة الحرم الجامعي الرئيسية, و المنح الدراسية و الكراسي البحثية. 9. زيادة فرص التطوير المهني للهيئة الادارية. 10. زيادة وتيرة البحوث و الأنشطة العلمية. 11. تعزيز و تطوير علاقات و تعاملات الجامعة مع المجتمع.

We continue to serve our community and nation in full support of The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah’s quest to transform Saudi Arabia into a knowledge-based economy through our long-standing commitment to academic excellence in an ever-expanding range of majors. This year we are proud to announce the start of another ground-breaking program - Visual and Digital Production, in partnership with the School of Cinematic Arts at the University of Southern California. With our commitment to excellence, we strive to educate tomorrow’s leaders at an international standard by providing an inter-disciplinary environment, managing resources effectively to provide life-long learning, providing community service learning experiences, encouraging national and international collaboration, and inspiring new models of learning to maximize the educational experience. We enable our students to mature to well-rounded, competent, and articulate citizens and leaders. The 2014-2015 academic year will undoubtedly bring new challenges and opportunities.
